Founded in 2003, Broad River Retail (BRR), a Fort Mill-owned and operated home furnishings retailer, is the largest and fastest-growing Ashley HomeStore licensee in the Carolinas and Georgia, currently with 16 HomeStores, including two acquired January 2 in Asheville and Arden, North Carolina, and one HomeStore Outlet. Since the opening of its first store in Pineville, NC, in May 2003, Broad River Retail has been on the fast track toward success. Sales exceeded $100 million in 2014, and four of the Company’s stores were ranked among the top ten across a broad range of metrics out of over 500 Ashley Furniture HomeStore locations worldwide.
