Robert J. Ciaruffoli

Bob served as the chairman and CEO of the Parente Beard/Baker Tilly accounting and advisory firm before retiring in 2015 to pursue entrepreneurial interests. During Bob’s tenure as chairman and CEO, he and his team transitioned the firm from a Pennsylvania practice to a multi-state super-regional firm. The firm’s revenues grew from $30M to $200M through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. In 2014, he orchestrated a merger of the Parente Beard and Baker Tilly Virchow Krause firms to create the 12th largest US accounting and advisory firm. Presently, he serves on the board of directors of: The Pennsylvania Society (President); Ben Franklin Technology Partners; eureQa – a SaaS cloud based automated platform for testing digital applications; Prosperoware – a software platform for cybersecurity, privacy and regulatory compliance; FSD Pharma Inc. (Audit Committee Chairman) – a broadly diversified pharmaceutical company; Archdiocese of Philadelphia; and, The Union League Legacy Foundation (Treasurer). Bob was also the past chairman of the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kings College, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and has proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
