Simon Burmester

Simon Burmester has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Simon began their career as an IT Recruitment Consultant at Aerotek in 1999. In 2000, they transitioned to the music industry, working as an Online Business Manager and DJ at Vinyl Addition / Fingerlickin' Records. Simon then moved on to Australian Satellite Communications in 2006, starting as a Sales Consultant and later becoming a Key Account Manager. Simon joined SpeedCast in 2013, initially as a Sales Director for Australia and subsequently as the Director of Strategic Business Development. Most recently, Simon has been working at Satcom Global since 2016 as the Sales Director for the Oceania region.

Simon Burmester obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Lansdowne College in London from 1993 to 1994. Simon also completed their secondary education at Kingston Grammar School from 1986 to 1993. In 2012, they enrolled in the University of South Australia for their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which is still in progress.
