Travis Materi

Travis Materi has extensive experience in the energy industry, spanning over a decade. Travis is currently working at Broadbill Energy Inc. as the Director of Operations & Construction since September 2022. Before that, they worked at CLEO Energy Corp. where they held various roles, including Director of Production & Operations from February 2022 to August 2022, Manager of Production & Operations from December 2019 to February 2022, Manager of Production from November 2018 to December 2019, and Operations Technologist from October 2017 to November 2018. Prior to CLEO Energy Corp., Travis worked at Blaze Energy Ltd. as a Production Engineer Technologist/Wellsite Supervisor from August 2012 to September 2017. Travis also served as a Plant Operator from December 2010 to August 2012, a Field Operator from February 2009 to December 2010, and a Maintenance Hand from September 2008 to February 2009.

Travis Materi is currently pursuing a degree in Professional Management at the University of Calgary since 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a certification as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) from ASET | The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta in March 2017. Additionally, Travis has completed a Petroleum Engineering Technology program and a Power Engineer program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Travis has also obtained certifications in Detection & Control of Flammable Substances, H2S Alive, and Safety Management & Regulatory Awareness for Wellsite Supervision from Energy Safety Canada.
