Charlie Abraham

Charlie Abraham is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in GPS/GNSS products and technologies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Broadcom Limited since 2016, Charlie oversees the development of hardware, software, and product planning for premium mobile devices. Prior roles at Broadcom include Vice President & General Manager, where Charlie led R&D and marketing for a significant mobile & wireless segment, and drove innovations that positioned Broadcom as the world's leading supplier of GPS chips. As a CoFounder and CTO of Global Locate Inc., Charlie successfully built an AGPS startup acquired by Broadcom, securing key client partnerships with major tech companies. With earlier positions at Magellan and Trimble, and a solid educational background with a BSEE from UC San Diego and an MSEE from the University of Southern California, Charlie has significantly contributed to advancements in GPS technology.
