Tommy Walsh

Tommy Walsh has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Tommy is currently the Director of Engineering at Overhaul since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Overhaul from September 2021 to June 2023. Before joining Overhaul, Tommy was a Software Engineering Manager and Software Architect at Software Advice from September 2019 to September 2021. Tommy also held the position of PHP Developer at Whole Foods Market from November 2016 to November 2017 and worked as a Software Development Lead at General Motors from May 2016 to November 2016. Tommy started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Amazing.com from July 2014 to April 2016. Before that, they were a Software Developer in Test at Riverside Technical Services, Inc. from June 2012 to February 2014. Tommy began their professional journey as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin from June 2008 to June 2012 and gained experience in designing web applications using ASP.NET. Their earliest role was as a Software Engineer at Satcom Direct from May 2006 to June 2008, where they developed a custom Point of Sale/inventory system and contributed to updating a flagship web application.

Tommy Walsh earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Florida Institute of Technology, completing the program from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the same institution, studying from 2002 to 2006.
