Dwight Oda

Dwight Oda is a seasoned engineer with over 38 years of experience in integrated circuit design, currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at Broadcom Corp since December 1999. Oda specializes in place and route, clocktree synthesis, and physical design verification for high-speed transceivers, as well as automotive and microwave chips. Previous roles at Broadcom included Principal Engineer positions in the Serdes and Integration Groups, focusing on synthesis, timing closure, and developing methodologies. Prior to Broadcom, Oda held positions at JTA Research, Inc. as a Senior ASIC Design Consultant, Synopsys Inc. as an Applications Consultant, and Hughes Aircraft Co. as a Staff Engineer, where contributions included managing teams, providing technical support, and leading complex ASIC design projects. Oda earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1985.
