Erik Stauffer

Erik Stauffer is a highly skilled professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Systems Design Engineering at Broadcom since November 2010. In this role, Erik leads an engineering team focused on LTE and user equipment chipsets, overseeing aspects such as algorithm design, simulation, verification, and field testing to ensure optimal receiver sensitivity and throughput performance. Previously, Erik was a Senior Engineer at Beceem Communications from October 2006 to November 2010, where responsibilities included developing algorithms for WiMAX mobile chipsets and conducting performance characterizations in laboratory settings. Erik earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
