Laurence Crutcher

Laurence Crutcher is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in IT strategy and data-driven decision making, currently employed at Broadcom Inc. since July 2019, focusing on delivering BizOps across Europe. Prior to this role, Laurence served as an Enterprise Architect at BNP Paribas from 2006 to July 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing IT strategy within the Investment Bank and establishing governance processes for timely and budget-aligned transformations. Laurence has also worked as an independent consultant specializing in integration strategy, serving notable clients such as UBS and Barclays Capital. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Architect at TIBCO Software, Manager of Networked Systems at Thomson Reuters, Research Scientist at Columbia University, and Member of Technical Staff at Hewlett-Packard. Laurence began an academic career as a Lecturer in Information Systems after earning a Ph.D. in Computer Architecture and a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol.
