Masato Akiyama

Masato Akiyama currently serves as the Executive Officer and Head of Enterprise Sales Division and Telecommunication Sales Division at Broadcom since January 2025. Prior to this role, Akiyama was the Country Manager at mabl from February 2024 to December 2024 and held the position of Regional Vice President at Snyk Japan from May 2022 to December 2023. Akiyama's prior experience includes significant roles at VMware, including Senior Operating Officer and Senior Director for Telco & Edge Cloud Business & Solutions from August 2018 to May 2022, as well as Regional Sales Director for High Touch Sales and Channel Sales at Brocade from October 2012 to March 2014. Akiyama earned a degree from Tokyo University of Science, attending from January 1988 to January 1992.
