Thea Rasmussen

Director of CX Strategy at BroadReach Communications

Thea Rasmussen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Thea started their career in 2008 as an Account Executive II at TDS Metrocom, where they provided pre and post-hosted IP telephony implementation support. From 2011 to 2014, Thea worked as an Indirect Channel Solutions Engineer at Telesphere, supporting the company's Indirect Sales Team and Channel Partners nationwide. During this time, they performed network design, live product demonstrations, and provided post-sales and installation support.

In 2014, Thea joined CenturyLink as a Senior Sales Engineer, acting as the technical lead on the Enterprise level acquisition team. Thea was responsible for technical and business requirements, proposal preparation support, and delivering technical presentations to customers for CenturyLink's products and solutions.

Thea then moved to Vonage in 2015 and took on various roles, including Senior Sales Engineer - Indirect Channel, Manager of Channel Sales Engineering, Director of Strategic Technical Sales, and Sr Enterprise Solutions Engineer. These roles involved responsibilities such as supporting regional channel managers with technical VoIP network design, implementing architecture design for cloud services, and providing technical expertise for sales and engineering.

In 2021, Thea joined TBI Inc. as a Cloud Communications Architect, where they continued to focus on cloud communications architecture. Thea then moved to AppDirect in 2023 in the same role, before joining BroadReach Communications as the Director of CX Strategy later that year.

Thea Rasmussen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Thea attended the university from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, Thea also holds a CloudU Certification, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is not provided. The certification was obtained from Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company.
