Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy currently serves as the Vice President of the Security Operations Center at Broadridge since October 2025. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Sony from September 2022 to October 2025, including Sr. Director of Cyber Defense and Sr. Director of Global Security Ops Center, leading a team of approximately 100 in cyber threat intelligence and attack surface management. Michael's background includes significant leadership roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment as Vice President of Information Security and Executive Director, overseeing multiple teams across various countries. With experience at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Telos Corporation, and Lockheed Martin, Michael has extensive expertise in incident response and cyber security operations. Academic credentials include an Associate's degree focused on Computer Science from Pellissippi State Community College.
