Leonardo Antunes

Leonardo Antunes has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Leonardo began their career as an intern at IBM in 1994 before moving on to Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) as an Intern/Analyst. Antunes then joined Robert Fleming (JP Morgan) as a Corporate Finance Associate in 1997. Leonardo continued to climb the corporate ladder, working at ABN AMRO in roles such as Structured Finance Vice President and Corporate Finance Latin America Vice President. In 2004, they transitioned to Banco Modal, where they worked in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets. Antunes also held various board member positions at Mecesa, Park Indigo Brasil, and Delivery Center. Their most recent roles include Senior Managing Director and Director at BroadSpan Capital LLC and a board member at Mergers Alliance.

Leonardo Antunes has an extensive education history that spans over several decades. Leonardo completed their high school education at Colegio Santo Inacio - RJ from 1979 to 1989. Leonardo then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at PUC-RJ - Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, which they completed from 1991 to 1996.

After obtaining their undergraduate degree, Leonardo furthered their education by pursuing executive MBAs in Finance and Energy, Oil & Gas from Ibmec. Leonardo completed the Finance MBA from 1999 to 2001, followed by the Energy, Oil & Gas MBA from 2001 to 2002.

In 2003, Leonardo enrolled in Ibmec again and completed a Master of Science degree in Business Administration, which they finished in 2004. Their academic journey continued with professional development programs, including an Executive Education Program in Advanced Negotiation at Stanford University, which they completed in 2020.

Alongside their formal education, Leonardo obtained certifications related to board of directors. Leonardo became a Certified Board of Directors and acquired the title of Conselheiro de Administração Certificado pelo IBGC from IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa in March 2014. Additionally, in September 2020, they obtained the Advanced Board of Directors title, Conselho de Administração Avançado, from the same institution.

Leonardo also participated in specialized programs such as the VC Unlocked program at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2017, and the Abundance360 program in 2018.
