Joana Silva

Joana Silva is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience in leading QA teams and enhancing software quality. Currently serving as Director of Quality Assurance at Broadvoice since January 2023, Joana has implemented effective quality control processes that have significantly reduced product defects while collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement. Prior to this role, Joana was the Quality Assurance Engineer Team Leader at GoContact, where project management and mentorship were key responsibilities. Joana's career began as a Software Developer at Instituto de Engenharia Eletrónica e Telemática de Aveiro, and further expertise was gained as a Quality Assurance Engineer at PT Inovação - Altice Labs. Joana holds a Master’s in Information Systems from Universidade de Aveiro, along with a degree in Technologies and Information Systems from the same institution, complementing a solid foundation in computer science from Escola Secundária de Seia.
