Genevieve Holt

Genevieve Holt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the performing arts industry. Genevieve began their career as an Executive Producer Intern at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2002. From there, they worked as an Assistant to the Presidents at Boneau/Bryan-Brown, where they managed Broadway show openings and press events. Genevieve then became a Division Leader at Justice & Young Public Relations before starting their own business, Genevieve Miller Marketing & Public Relations. As the owner, they provided marketing and PR services. Holt then moved on to work at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company as a PR Consultant, where they participated in rebranding initiatives and had various other roles within the company. Genevieve also gained experience as an MBA/MA - PR Assistant at Colorado Shakespeare Festival during the summer of 2006. In 2007, they joined Denver Center for the Performing Arts as the Director of Publicity & Promotions, overseeing the public relations department. Genevieve later became the PR Manager for the Broadway Touring Division of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Currently, they are with Broadway Across America, initially serving as a General Manager - Cincinnati and now as the Vice President, Midwest Region. In addition to overseeing sales, marketing, and operations, Holt is the Executive Sponsor of the Black Theatre Coalition/Broadway Across America Fellowship Program, supporting Black-identifying college students and early career professionals in the business side of touring Broadway.

Genevieve Holt completed their Bachelor of Philosophy degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Shakespeare and Film at Miami University from 1998 to 2002. Genevieve then pursued further education at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration from 2005 to 2007. During this same period, they also earned an MBA specializing in Arts Management from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. Prior to their university education, Genevieve Holt attended McNicholas High School from 1994 to 1998.
