Nancy Jarrett Piper is an experienced musician and educator with a diverse background in private lesson instruction and orchestral performance. Currently serving as a private lesson instructor at Flower Mound High School and Shadow Ridge Middle School since August 2010, Nancy has also been a substitute horn player for Dallas Summer Musicals and a horn player with Lewisville Lake Symphony since 2010 and 2011, respectively. Nancy has performed on the natural horn with the Orchestra of New Spain since 2003 and has maintained a self-employed musician status since 2001. Previously, Nancy held the position of principal horn with Lyric Stage, Inc. from 2006 to 2012 and worked as a private lesson instructor in Coppell ISD from 2002 to 2010. Educational qualifications include studies at the University of North Texas.
