Lynn Cameron has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1999, they started as a Credit Analyst and Community Development Housing Specialist at Bank of America. Lynn then worked as a Mortgage Lending Team Leader at Option One Mortgage from 2004 to 2006. Subsequently, Lynn served as a Financial Planning and Business Consultant-Educator at LA Credit and Consulting in 2006. Lynn also worked as a Senior Mortgage Specialist at Wells Fargo (formerly Wachovia Bank) from 2006 to 2007. Lynn then joined One United Bank as a Senior Credit Officer and Underwriter in 2007. Lynn was a Board Member at CCEO from 2008 to 2012 and a Vice President at Broadway Federal Bank starting in 2009. In 2011, Lynn volunteered at the Mayme A. Clayton Library and Museum of African American History and Culture as part of the Get on Board Exhibit. Their most recent role was as a Retired individual at PJC Property Management starting in June 2017. Throughout their career, Lynn also served as an Adjunct Professor of Mortgage Finance Studies at Los Angeles Trade Technical College.

Lynn Cameron pursued their education in a methodical manner, completing their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from UCLA between 1974 and 1977. Lynn later enrolled at Golden Gate University, where they undertook a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program specialized in Finance and Financial Management Services from 1985 to 1987.
