David Prochniak

David Prochniak is an accomplished electrical engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Broan since September 2020, David has extensive experience spanning various roles, including Electrical Engineer IV and Engineering Manager at Briggs & Stratton, where responsibilities included overseeing project assignments and leading IoT development for standby generators. Previous positions include Senior Design Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., focusing on complex electrical systems for hydraulic mining shovels, as well as roles at Manitou North America and Case New Holland, where David designed electrical systems for construction equipment and compact tractors. Additionally, David is involved in an extracurricular project developing an automated door system integrated with IoT technology for remote monitoring and control.
