M.eng. Heather Cranston

Heather Cranston, M.Eng. has a strong background in environmental health and safety management. Heather is currently serving as the Global Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Broan-NuTone. Prior to this, they worked as an EHS Manager and Corporate Safety Manager at Generac Power Systems from 2019 to 2021. Heather also served as the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at SPX Transformer Solutions, Inc. from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they held positions as the Client Services Field Operations Manager and Client Services Engagement Manager at Brady Corporation from 2012 to 2016. Heather has also worked as an Environmental Health & Safety Manager at Potawatomi Bingo Casino from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they have significant experience as the Owner of HMST Associates LLC, where they provided adult education services for various environmental companies and conducted on-site OSHA compliance mock audits for clients. Finally, Heather worked as a Corporate Safety Supervisor at Advanced Waste Services, Inc. from 2007 to 2010.

Heather Cranston, M.Eng., completed their Master of Engineering degree in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from Upper Iowa University - Milwaukee Campus, graduating between 2009 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Heather holds several certifications.
