Julian Knott

Julian Knott has significant experience in the education and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Head of Curriculum Engineering, Teacher of Engineering, and Head of Apprenticeships in Engineering at Brockenhurst College since September 2011. In these roles, Julian is responsible for the establishment and management of engineering apprenticeship programs and oversees the work of teachers and assessors. Additionally, Julian acts as Progress Manager, providing pastoral care for approximately 150 engineering students while managing a team of tutors. Prior to Brockenhurst College, Julian worked as Senior Coordinating Lecturer in Maritime Studies at Southampton City College, where mentoring and course development for business needs were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Foreman at Revival Power Boats, managing projects and a team of builders. Julian holds a Cert Ed in Teaching from the University of Greenwich, obtained between 2008 and 2010.
