Cynthia Flynn is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering, project management, and grant writing. Currently serving as a Grant Writer at Brockport Research Institute since February 2016, Cynthia prepares comprehensive grant applications, including budgets and narratives, while also creating supporting documents. As a self-employed General Manager since 2008, support is provided for technical aspects, proposal reviews, and project management within the power industry. Previously, Cynthia worked as an Environmental Engineer and Project Manager at IT Corporation, focusing on environmental compliance and waste management, and as a Project Engineer at Northeast Utilities Service Company, overseeing significant upgrades to wastewater treatment facilities. Cynthia holds an M.B.A. in Technology Management from Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
