Rasha Sarhan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rasha started their career as a Research Associate at the Ministry of Health and Population of Egypt in 1995. Rasha then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Cairo University from 1996 to 2000. From 2001 to 2002, they were a Teaching Assistant at Ottawa University. Rasha joined Bridgepoint active healthcare as a Pharmacy Student/Intern in 2004 and later worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at Queensway Carleton Hospital from 2005 to 2015. In 2005, they also started working as a Pharmacist at Loblaw Companies Limited. In 2015, Rasha had internships as a Pharm D Pharmacy Intern at Saint Luis Valley Regional Medical Centre and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Since 2016, they have been working as a Clinical Lead/Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist at Brockville General Hospital.

Rasha Sarhan's education history begins in 1990 when they attended Cairo University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, which they completed in 1995. Later, in 2003 to 2004, they enrolled in the International Pharmacy Graduate Program at the University of Toronto, focusing on Clinical, Hospital, and Managed Care Pharmacy.

Moving on to their graduate studies, Rasha earned a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Cairo University in 2007. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, which spanned from 2011 to 2016.

In addition to their academic achievements, Rasha obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2004, they received the Certificate of Registration as a Pharmacist from the Ontario College of Pharmacists. In 2013, they obtained the Immunization and Injection certification from the Ontario Pharmacists Association. Furthermore, in 2014, they acquired certifications in Bloodborne Pathogens, HIPAA & Privacy, and HIPAA & Security from the Pharmacist's Letter/Therapeutic Research Center.
