Corey Thomas

Corey Thomas, CPA, CMA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Corey is currently the Senior Vice President Finance at Broken Heart Love Affair, a role they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, Corey held various roles at Broken Heart Love Affair, including Vice President of Finance and Operations and Vice President Finance, from January 2021 to February 2023 and February 2020 to February 2023, respectively. Before joining Broken Heart Love Affair, Corey worked as the Vice President Finance at Republic Story from September 2017 to February 2020. Corey also gained experience as a Facilitator at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) from May 2016 to July 2017. Corey's early career includes roles at General Mills, where they served as a Finance Manager from January 2011 to September 2016, an Associate Marketing Manager from June 2009 to December 2010, a Senior Financial Analyst from July 2008 to June 2009, and a Financial Analyst from February 2007 to June 2008. Corey started their professional journey as an Accountant at Pirate Radio & Television from October 2003 to February 2007.

Corey Thomas, CPA, CMA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Economics from The University of Western Ontario between 1999 and 2003.
