Previously, Salaar held positions at Johnson Insurance where responsibilities included building a portfolio for the ScotiaLife Home & Auto program and leading a Scotia rollover project. Earlier experience includes account management in personal lines at RDA Inc., where Salaar also served as team lead in inside sales and as a personal insurance broker. Salaar’s career began at Intact Financial Corporation - belairdirect as a personal insurance advisor and included a role as a retention specialist at Bell Media. Salaar holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Government from Western University and in Global Development, Economics, and Cultural Diversity from Huron University.
