Asad Jalib

Asad Jalib is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Asad began their career in 2014 as the Founder & CEO of Empire Fitness Canada. In 2015, they co-founded MyLendingHub. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the CEO of the Brock University Students' Union, where they led a team of 3 salaried direct reports and 200+ indirect reports, a $13.5M Annual Budget and 19,000+ customers. Asad also served as a Board Member and CFO during their time there. In 2020, they became a University Trustee at Brock University. In 2021, they joined Amazon as a Manager II, Operations, where they were ranked as Top Tier and Exceeding Amazon's High Bar in the 2022 Amazon Annual Performance Review. Asad then joined DirtMarket as Co-Founder & CEO in 2020, where they built and scaled a construction material marketplace from 0 to serving over 1,000 construction teams. Currently, they are the Vice President, Operations at Brokrete, where they are working to make construction e-commerce easy.

Asad Jalib holds a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA (Honours) from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University as well as a Master in Management from the Burgundy School of Business - BSB. In 2020, they obtained four additional certifications: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute, IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from IBM, Complete Python Bootcamp from Udemy, and Computer Science | HarvardX from CS50.
