Aoife Dunphy

Aoife Dunphy has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and product development fields. Aoife began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail in 2011. From there, they joined Jaguar Land Rover in 2012 as a Product Development Engineer, where they worked on seating systems. Aoife later became a Module Leader in Glazing and Roof Systems before leaving the company in 2019. In 2019, Aoife joined Brompton Bicycle as a Product Development Manager, and they are currently serving as the Head of New Product Introduction.

Aoife Dunphy completed their education with a MSc in Engineering and Process Excellence from the University of Bradford in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they earned a BA and BAI in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained additional certifications such as a Certificate in Performance Coaching from Breakthrough Thinking in 2022, PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from PeopleCert in 2021, and a Six Sigma Green Belt (JLR) from the University of Bradford.
