David Norheim

David Norheim has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. David currently holds the position of Avdelingsdirektør Forretningsutvikling / Head of Business Development at Brønnøysundregistrene, a role they have been in since February 2021. Prior to this, from August 2015 to February 2021, they served as the Special Director of Information Management / Fagdirektør at the same company.

Before their time at Brønnøysundregistrene, David worked at Computas AS for nearly a decade. From August 2010 to August 2015, they held the position of Department Manager, where they focused on sales and business development, particularly in the area of information management in the public sector. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Engineer from January 2006 to August 2010.

David's career also includes experience as a Researcher at UNIK - University Graduate Center from March 2005 to July 2007, and as a Partner at Asemantics S.r.l from July 2002 to September 2005. Additionally, they served as a Market Advisor/Special Advisor at the Norwegian Trade Council from January 2002 to December 2003.

Early on in their career, David worked as a Researcher at the Joint Research Center of the European Commission from February 2001 to December 2001, where they contributed to the development of the European Media Monitor and the standard for online dispute resolution. Prior to this, they were a Senior Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young from February 1997 to February 2001.

David Norheim obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of South-Eastern Norway from 1990 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1994 and 1997.
