Kjetil Groven

Kjetil Groven is an accomplished software developer with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Since April 2006, Kjetil has been a software developer at Brønnøysundregistrene, specializing in web applications, APIs, CMS, and relational databases using technologies such as Java, Javascript, React/Typescript, PHP, and Kotlin. In February 2011, Kjetil founded Groven Software, focusing on web pages and web applications. Previous roles include a position as a software developer/statistician in the medical division of the Norwegian Armed Forces from November 2000 to April 2006, and co-founding NewsGrip AS, contributing as a software developer from March 2002 to June 2004. Kjetil also gained experience as a software programmer during a summer job at Digital Hverdag AS in 1998. Kjetil holds a Master of Science degree in Information Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and a Cand. mag in Informatics with a minor in mathematics from Molde University College. Additional educational pursuits include a course at Sør-Trøndelag University College in 2010.
