Aftab Ahmad

Aftab Ahmad has over 30 years of work experience in finance and administration. Currently, they are serving as the Finance Director at Bronswerk Group since January 2022. Previously, they worked at Alscott Air Systems Ltd for 13 years, where they held the position of CFO and Finance & Administration Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing all aspects of finance and administration for contracts ranging from $500,000 to $5 million. Aftab also supervised a team of 5 and oversaw functions such as contractual review, risk analysis, budgeting, procurement, and compliance reporting.

Before joining Alscott Air Systems, Aftab worked as a Project Accountant at DHL Express UK, a Finance Manager at Initial City Link, and a Senior Management Accountant at CIGNA. Aftab also served as a Commercial Director at Service Point UK, a Financial Controller at Beardmore Hotel & Conference Centre in Scotland, an Accountant at HCI International Medical Centre in Scotland, and an Accountant at Depot Discount Clothing Ltd in the UK.

Aftab's career began in 1989 as a Graduate Trainee - Chartered Accountant at Pannell Kerr Forster. Overall, they have a wide range of experience in finance and administration across various industries.

Aftab Ahmad obtained a BA Hons Accountancy degree from Birmingham City University from 1986 to 1989. Currently, they are pursuing an Executive MBA from Oxford Brookes University. In terms of certifications, they completed the CFO Leadership Program - Online from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2020. Aftab is also an ACCA Fellow since 2005, and they obtained their ACCA Qualification in 2000. Additionally, they are a CGA Member since 2009.
