Anne Cohen

Anne Cohen is currently the COO at Bronx House. Prior to this, they were the Founding Director of Music at Washington Heights & Inwood (WHIN) Music Community Charter School from June 2017 to July 2020. Before that, they were a Music Specialist & Co-Curricular Team Leader at Blue School from August 2012 to August 2017. Cohen began their career as a music teacher at various PreK-8 charter and independent schools in September 2007 and continued in this role until September 2012.

Anne Cohen has a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. Anne also has a Post-Masters Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership, SBL/SDL from Stony Brook University. Anne has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music and Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from Bucknell University. Anne also has certification from the New York State Department of Education in New York State K-12 Professional Certification, Music and in New York State School Building Leader/School District Leader.
