Joann Ferrara

JoAnn Ferrara currently serves as the Senior Director of HIM/Care Management at BronxCare Health System, a position held since July 2017, overseeing departments including Health Information Management, Case Management, Utilization Management, Social Work, and Appeals Management. Prior to this role, JoAnn was the Senior Director of HIM, handling all aspects of inpatient and outpatient HIM functions. JoAnn has extensive experience in Health Information Management, having held the title of Director of HIM at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Holy Name Medical Center, and Irvington General Hospital. JoAnn holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Kelher School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from John Jay College (CUNY).
