Martin Mayers

Martin Mayers is a highly experienced ophthalmologist, currently serving as the Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at BronxCare Health System since 1994 and as the Director of the Division of Ophthalmology at SBH Health System since July 2014. Previously, Martin held the position of Director of the Cornea Service at Montefiore Medical Center from 1984 to 2009. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a fellowship in Cornea & External Eye Disease and Uveitis from the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine, a residency in Ophthalmology from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yeshiva University.
