McKenna Cox M.a.

McKenna Cox M.A., CCC-SLP is a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist currently employed at BronxCare Health System since August 2024, specializing in adult acute care with a focus on dysphagia studies, tracheostomy care, and comprehensive speech and language therapy. Prior experience includes a clinical fellowship in a similar acute care setting and internships at the NYC Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where McKenna provided acute care speech and swallow therapy. McKenna is also a producer and writer for the Award-Winning Kids & Family Podcast at Story Pirates, and served as Event Director for Story Pirates Changemakers, managing a virtual event program for corporate volunteers. McKenna holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from East Carolina University.
