Alejandro Lopez Cifuentes, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alejandro is currently the Head of Research at Bronze, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Dive.tech, from July 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining the industry, Alejandro pursued their academic career at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where they completed their PhD in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Alejandro'sdoctoral research focused on Context-Driven Vision for Image and Video Analysis. During this time, they also served as a Research Assistant in Computer Vision from January 2017 to September 2017.

Additionally, Alejandro gained industry experience through scholarship positions at Fonetic and BBVA in 2015 and 2013, respectively. These opportunities allowed him to further develop their skills and knowledge in their field.

Alejandro Lopez Cifuentes, PhD has an extensive education history in the field of computer vision, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. Alejandro attended the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2011 to 2015, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a specialization in Signal Processing, Audio and Video, and Computer Vision.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Alejandro pursued further studies at Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Information Technology, focusing on Image Processing and Computer Vision. Alejandro then returned to the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid for a Master's degree from 2016 to 2017 in I2-TIC Investigacion y Desarrollo, specializing in Image Processing and Computer Vision.

To broaden their expertise, Alejandro also pursued a Master's degree in Complex System Engineering at the Université de Bordeaux from 2016 to 2017, with a focus on Image Processing and Computer Vision.

Alejandro's pursuit of knowledge continued with a PhD from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which they completed from 2017 to 2022. Alejandro earned their PhD Cum Laude in Telecommunications Engineering, specializing in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

In addition to their formal education, Alejandro obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from Cambridge Assessment English in June 2012.
