Leila Hashemi

Leila Hashemi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy and communications, currently serving as a Trustee at Brook since July 2023. As Associate Strategy Director and Strategy Lead at Shape History since January 2018, Leila Hashemi develops advocacy strategies and key messaging for diverse audiences. Additionally, Leila Hashemi provides communications consultancy for the Kurdish and Middle Eastern Women's Organisation and has held roles at the World Wide Web Foundation and Survation Ltd. Prior to these positions, Leila Hashemi worked with Foresight Group, Dezeen, and Wallpaper* City Guides. Leila Hashemi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Warwick and completed high school at St. Michael's Catholic Grammar School.
