Alexa Ponce

Alexa Ponce has extensive experience in the field of social work and clinical coordination, currently serving as the Clinical Coordinator for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Department at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center since September 2017. Prior to this role, Alexa held positions including Clinical Supervisor at Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens and ABA Specialist/EI at CityPro Group, among others. Alexa has provided therapy and counseling services in various settings, including in-home therapy for children and families in foster care, and bilingual counseling at the Roberto Clemente Center. Additionally, Alexa contributed as a Volunteer Advocate with the Sexual Assault Violence Intervention Program, offering crisis counseling and support in emergency settings. Alexa holds a Master of Social Work degree from Stony Brook University and has further training from The Ackerman Family Institute.
