Asma Syed

Director, Electrophysiology Lab at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center

Asma Syed started their work experience in 2006 as a Physician and Associate Director of Arrhythmia Service at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. In 2014, they also became the Director of the Electrophysiology Lab in the same institution. In 2015, they joined SUNY Downstate Medical Center as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine.

Asma Syed's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at Stony Brook University. Following this, they attended Ross University School of Medicine to earn their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Asma then pursued further specialization in the field of Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. Finally, they obtained additional degrees in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology from SUNY Downstate.
