Jeffrey Ellis

Jeffrey Ellis is a highly experienced Dermatologist and Mohs & Cosmetic Surgeon with a career spanning over two decades. Since July 2005, Jeffrey has been practicing at Belaray Dermatology. Jeffrey also serves as the Director of Dermatology at multiple institutions: New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, with responsibilities that include recruiting and supervising dermatology staff physicians and coordinating patient consultations and education. In addition to clinical roles, Jeffrey is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Prior to current roles, Jeffrey held the position of Director of Dermatological Surgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem and founded JournalReview LLC, a medical citation discussion forum. Jeffrey earned an MD from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University and completed undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College.
