Ravi Kothuru

Ravi Kothuru has extensive work experience in the medical field, with a focus on thoracic surgery. Ravi currently holds the position of Chairman at One Brooklyn Health, starting in April 2022. Previously, they worked at The Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center as the Chief of Thoracic Surgery, starting in June 2016. Ravi later became the Associate Chairman of the Department of Surgery in May 2019 until March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of the Department of Surgery at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center starting in July 2011. Ravi Kothuru is also the President and Co-Founder of Operation International since April 1997. Additionally, they have held positions as the managing partner at New York Surgical Group from January 2007 until April 2022, and as an Attending Thoracic Surgeon at Jamaica Hospital from January 2007 until April 2022. Lastly, they served as the Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center from July 2004 until April 2022.

Ravi Kothuru obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from Guntur Medical College, Guntur, AP, India, between 1985 and 1991. Ravi is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Columbia University, starting in 2018.
