Emily Savarese

Emily Savarese is an experienced educator currently serving as a Second Grade Teacher at Brooke Charter Schools since August 2018, where responsibilities include developing and implementing a standards-based curriculum tailored to diverse student needs and conducting weekly professional development. Previously, Emily worked as a Lower Elementary Associate Teacher at Edward Brooke Charter Schools, focusing on inquiry-based instruction and family communication. Emily's early career included roles as a Substitute Teacher and Teacher Assistant at WSWHE BOCES and the Early Childhood Center, along with student teaching experiences at Schuylerville Elementary and Lake Ave Elementary Schools, where lesson planning and family engagement were emphasized. Emily also gained valuable experience working as a Head Counselor at August Scholars and as a Coxswain for Skidmore Community Rowing. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Skidmore College, complemented by studies in Spanish Language and Literature at Tufts-Skidmore Spain.
