Vicmarys Brito

Vicmarys Brito has extensive experience in education, currently serving as Assistant Principal and AP Spanish Teacher at Brooke Charter Schools since July 2017, where responsibilities include managing the Spanish department and aligning curriculum from Spanish 1 to AP Spanish Language and Literature. Previously, Vicmarys was a Spanish Teacher at Roxbury Preparatory Charter School from July 2015 to July 2017, contributing as part of the founding team and teaching both Spanish 1 and Native Speakers Spanish. Vicmarys was also a 2015 Teach For America Corps Member and held an internship at the College of the Holy Cross Admissions Office from August 2012 to May 2015. In addition, Vicmarys taught Social Studies for Breakthrough Collaborative. Vicmarys holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development (2015-2017) and a Bachelor's degree in History from the College of the Holy Cross (2011-2015).
