Vonnie Orellana serves as the Digital Media and Communications Coordinator at Brooke Charter Schools, having previously held the position of Communications Intern at the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Advancement with the City of Boston. With a strong background in communications, Vonnie has developed social media content and promotional materials to support immigrant communities and align communications with strategic initiatives. Educationally, Vonnie is pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Boston University, following a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology Human Services from Emmanuel College. Additional experience includes roles as a Resident Assistant, IT Student Worker, and Summer Intern at The Literacy Center, highlighting skills in community building, customer service, and technology assistance.
