Alaina M. is an accomplished student researcher at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, focusing on malaria in Dr. Caroline Ng’s lab since June 2022. Alaina has participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Program as a SURP Scholar, and brings extensive experience as a Medication Aide and CNA at Brookestone Village Rehabilitation & Care Center since September 2019. Additionally, Alaina serves as a coach for the Figure Skating Club of Omaha and previously worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Mustoe Lab, exploring neuropeptides and marmoset behavior. Alaina holds a degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (2019-2023) and a Nursing Assistant/Aide certificate from Nebraska Methodist College, complemented by a high school diploma from Westside High School (2015-2019).
