Carolyn Bidwell

Carolyn Bidwell is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for oversight of the global mergers and acquisitions tax team, structuring of Brookfield’s global real estate funds, and tax-related legislative and regulatory initiatives.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, Ms. Bidwell was an associate at the law firms of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Clifford Chance, where she represented private equity funds and public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, restructurings, and fund structuring.

Ms. Bidwell holds a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws degree from University College London.
