Cherif Ibrahim, CFA, has over 18 years of experience in market risk management and engineering. At Brookfield Renewable U.S., Cherif progressed through multiple roles, starting as a Business Analyst and advancing to the position of Director, Market Risk, since November 2013. Prior experience includes working at Sanmina-SCI as a Product Engineer/Senior Test Engineer and at BreconRidge as a Test Engineer. Cherif began a career in software development as a Software/Algorithm Developer at Systems and Computer Engineering, Carleton University. Cherif holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation obtained between 2008 and 2012 and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from Carleton University, completed in 2004.
