David H. Purcell is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Asset Development at Brookfield Renewable U.S., where oversight includes the TerraForm platform's development across a wind, solar, and storage portfolio from Hawai’i to Maine. Prior experience includes leadership roles in US offshore wind development and corporate finance at FTI Consulting, and extensive experience in the global offshore wind space at The Renewables Consulting Group. David's career also encompasses various positions at Navigant and The Regulatory Assistance Project, focusing on energy consulting and research. Academically, David holds a Master of Science in Energy Finance from the University of Edinburgh Business School, a Master of Environmental Law & Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont.
