Leo DePole is an experienced Energy Trading Analyst at Brookfield Renewable U.S., contributing to predictive models and power generation scheduling within the PJM and MISO markets. Leo has also completed a Grid Edge Research Internship at Wood Mackenzie, focusing on grid resilience and electric vehicle research for subscription-based clients. Concurrently, as an Advanced Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, Leo enhances sigma profiles of organic molecules using high-performance computing and machine learning techniques for battery applications. Additionally, Leo participates in the Grand Challenges Scholars Program, studying solar implementation challenges in coal-centric Appalachian communities, and previously worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant developing advanced photovoltaic cells under Dr. Prashant Kamat. Leo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, completed in 2023.
