Erik Muller is a physicist with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently, Erik holds a dual appointment as a physicist at Brookhaven National Laboratory since October 2020 and serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Stony Brook University since September 2009. Previously, Erik contributed to the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook University in various roles, including research professor and research assistant professor, beginning in 2009. Erik's research career began at Brookhaven National Laboratory as a research associate from August 2005 to August 2008. Erik earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University in 2005 and a B.S. in Physics from UC San Diego in 1998.
