Imran L. currently serves as Vice President of Global Technology & Innovation - Data Centers at Johnson Controls since June 2025. Previously, Imran held the position of Chief Operations Officer at Brookhaven National Laboratory from October 2010 to June 2025, where responsibility included managing global teams to develop mission-critical data center infrastructure. Imran's extensive experience encompasses leading the design and management of high-performance computing facilities, implementing advanced cooling technologies to enhance energy efficiency, and mentoring students in scientific research and development. Imran began the career as a Project Estimator at BP Mechanical Corp. and advanced to Engineering Manager, overseeing substantial infrastructure projects. Imran received a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The City College of New York and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, complemented by executive education at MIT Sloan.
