Jay Hyun Jo is an Associate Physicist at Brookhaven National Laboratory since October 2022, previously serving as an Assistant Physicist. Prior experience includes positions as an Associate Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University from December 2015 to September 2022, focusing on the MicroBooNE short baseline neutrino experiment involving event reconstruction and data analysis. At Stony Brook University, Jay held roles as a Research Assistant from August 2011 to October 2015 under Prof. Chang Kee Jung, and as a Teaching Assistant, managing classical physics labs. Jay's earlier research experiences at Seoul National University included work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant on Gallium doping effects in thin films and measuring hysteresis loops. Jay earned a Ph.D. in Particle Physics from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy from Seoul National University.
